Step 2 - Submission of Credentials & Peer References

Most of these records are required by law or are required by our clients who are accredited by the Joint Commission or other survey organizations.

• Professional license
• CPR - Health Care Provider level

  We offer CPR to current and new employees on an as needed basis, however waiting for our class may delay you starting to work. Classes in the Oklahoma City area are available at the Vo Tech schools or through various hospital education departments. CPR may be available on line at www.aedcpr.com. Classes are also offered regularly by: Heart Smart / 405-632-4179

• ACLS, PALS, NALS, TNCC, CAPE, Mandt, etc.

  These certifications as well as others may qualify you for special assignments.

• IV Skills Competency (class certificate, skills check list, etc.)

  Validation of IV skills may qualify you for additional assignments in acute care facilities. This applies to LPNs / LVNs only.

• References

  Most employers, current and past, will verify only dates and position. In almost all situations, we are unable to get any information about individual performance. Because of this, we ask you to print several Peer Reference forms and ask two - four (minimum of two) coworkers to provide AMP with information about your professional peformance. We prefer information from persons who are equal to or above you in skill, license or management/supervisory status in your current as well as a previous employment.
